Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Cleaner for on-call night shifts to perform a wide range of custodial duties across facilities. The role follows instructions from the Custodial Manager and focuses on keeping floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas clean and presentable.

The candidate should be reliable, able to work with minimal supervision, and comfortable using standard cleaning equipment. Compensation ranges from $21.00 to $24.70 per hour, reflecting location and experience.

Qualifications

• Basic cleaning responsibilities requires no previous experience.
• Must be able to take direction, to work with minimal supervision, and to function cooperatively as part of a team.
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment.
• Use a portable vacuum cleaner – back pack style.
• Requires attention to detail, a pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and wash floors, and other surfaces (inside buildings).
• Use light and heavy floor buffers and shampoo machines including attachments.
• Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas; spot clean daily and shampoo rugs when directed.
• Wash windowsills and interior/exterior glass; wipe interior walls daily.
• Clean bathrooms and restock supplies daily; damp wipe glass, empty waste, service dispensers, dust surfaces, sweep/mop floors.
• Monitor defects like clogged urinals and lights; report to supervisors.
• Collect building trash daily and place in designated area for removal.
• Replace liners in waste baskets per specs.
• Perform periodic tasks like high dusting, leather/wood polishing, wall washing.
• Any and all other duties as assigned.
