Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Emergency Hospital is seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures including CT and X-Rays at a technical level with minimal supervision. You will assist physicians and nursing staff, operate PACS and imaging equipment, and ensure proper documentation.

Qualifications include ARRT radiography, CT certification, BLS, and at least a radiology degree. Prior CT and ER experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology graduate required.
• ARRT registration in radiography required.
• ARRT registration in CT preferred.
• CT certification required within 12 months of hire (state-specific).
• Current BLS certification required.
• 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience preferred.
• 1+ years CT and ER experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to assist physicians, nurses and other staff.
• Operate and maintain X-Ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS equipment.
• Perform imaging exams per policies and notify physician of results.
• Maintain documentation, logs and records in paper and electronic formats.
• Travel to facility locations as required and attend meetings.
