Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Emergency Hospital is seeking a radiologic technologist to perform CT and X-ray procedures at a clinical level with minimal supervision. You will operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensure timely reporting to physicians, and support patient care across the facility during night shifts.

Responsibilities include handling PACS workflows, maintaining compliance with policies and CLIA regulations, and contributing to quality control and proficiency testing.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology is required.
• ARRT registered radiologic technologist is required.
• ARRT CT certification preferred; CT cert within 12 months of hire in some markets.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required.
• 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience, preferred.
• 1+ years of CT experience, preferred.
• 1+ years of ER experience, preferred.
• Proficiency with PACS and radiology equipment; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and patient care to support physicians, nurses and staff.
• Operate and maintain X-Ray, CT, CR reader and PACS equipment.
• Perform imaging exams per policies and inform the on-duty physician of results.
• Perform basic clinical procedures under physician or nurse direction.
• Maintain documentation, logs and records in paper and electronic formats.
• Collect lab samples and perform lab testing per policy and COLA/CLIA rules.
• Maintain reagents and consumables for quality testing.
• Conduct routine maintenance and checks on imaging equipment.
• Perform Quality Control and Proficiency Testing as required.
• Retain analytic records for at least two years.
