The candidate operates CT, X-ray, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine and/or mammography equipment, meeting licensure requirements and contributing to quality patient imaging and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in radiologic technology is required.
• ARRT certification and RT licensure in the state of practice are required.
• BLS/CPR certification from an approved provider is required.
• Current certification in at least one additional modality (CT, Mammography, MRI, NM, Sonography or PET) is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine and/or mammography equipment.
• Assist in achieving departmental objectives and optimize workflow.
• Perform three modalities competently and ensure patient safety and quality imaging.
• Safely transport patients and prepare contrast agents as needed.
