Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a Level 1 trauma center in Boston, MA. You will perform CT imaging on nights, 3x12hr shifts, with a 36-hour week and potential on-call coverage. Requires Siemens equipment experience, MA Radiologic/CT licensure, ARRT CT, and BLS.

The assignment is 13 weeks with a 12-hour night schedule and opportunities to float within radiology departments. Travel benefits and housing stipends are provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as Radiologic Technologist, with at least 1 year CT experience
• Massachusetts Radiologic/CT licensure required; license if applicable
• ARRT CT registration; BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology
• Experience with Level 1 trauma centers and Siemens CT equipment preferred
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills for patient care in high-stress environments
• Knowledge of imaging processes, techniques, and cross-sectional anatomy

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to acquire diagnostic images per protocol and ensure proper patient prep
• Perform venipuncture for contrast administration under radiologist direction
• Complete RIS documentation and transfer images to PACS for each exam
• Calibrate and verify equipment operation; report malfunctions
• May supervise students and other department staff
• Participate in quality assurance, quality improvement, and research initiatives
• Maintain CEUs to meet licensure and ARRT requirements
• Comply with flu vaccination policy and clinical safety standards
