Qualifications

• 1-2 years of clinical radiologic experience required.
• 2-4 years of CT Technologist experience in acute care setting preferred.
• Licensure as Radiologic Technologist; CT certification or eligibility within 6 months of hire; BCLS within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images per protocols.
• Prepares and positions patients for CT procedures with appropriate immobilization.
• Verifies patient identity and orders; screens for contraindications to contrast.
• Performs creatinine testing and calculates GFR when needed for contrast studies; documents results.
• Administers contrast media following safety protocols and monitors for adverse reactions.
• Explains procedures to patients and supports them during examinations.
• Collaborates with radiologists and healthcare team for accurate, timely results.
• Assists with interventional CT procedures and sterile field setup.
• Reviews images for technical accuracy and communicates findings to team.
• Maintains patient history documentation and ensures quality imaging data.
