Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for night shift (7pm-7am) at a 16-bed small-format hospital. The role covers CT and X-ray imaging with supervision as needed, and involves maintaining equipment, documentation, and QC.

The position requires ARRT radiography certification, BLS, English fluency, and 2+ years imaging experience. CT certification within 12 months is preferred. Travel to all facility locations may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, required.
• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology, required.
• Associate’s Degree in Radiology, preferred.
• Certified as a medical radiologic technologist as required by the state in which practicing, required.
• CT Certification, preferred.
• CT certification required within 12 months of hire.
• ARRT registered in radiography required.
• ARRT registered in CT, preferred.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association, required.
• 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience, preferred.
• 1+ years CT experience, preferred.
• 1+ years ER experience, preferred.
• Fluency in English, written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to assist physicians, nurses and other staff.
• Operate and maintain imaging department equipment including X-ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS.
• Perform imaging exams per policies and notify physician on duty of results.
• Perform basic clinical procedures under physician and/or nurse supervision.
• Maintain documentation in paper and electronic formats.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing per policies and CLIA regulations.
• Maintain reagents and supplies for quality testing.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and quality control on imaging equipment.
• Perform Proficiency Testing and Split Sample analysis as required.
• Retain analytic records for at least two years.
• Document all Quality Assessment activities for review.
