Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a passionate RN Clinical Nurse - Critical Care at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Georgia. This night shift, part-time role (24 hours per week) supports an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, safe patient care in a dynamic critical care environment.

You will practice under Wellstar's Professional Practice Model, uphold standards, maintain patient-centered care, and participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Georgia
• Minimum 2 years direct patient care experience
• Critical care or ICU experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies

Responsibilities

• Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation, evaluation) using evidence-based practice.
• Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care adapted to diverse populations.
• Collaborate with patients and families and communicate goals and plans clearly.
• Adhere to current clinical practice standards and ethical guidelines.
• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe, high-quality care.
• Participate in performance improvement, research and shared governance initiatives.
• Serve as a preceptor/mentor to staff and students as needed.
• Promote evidence-based practice and nursing research within the team.
