Job summary

Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Georgia is seeking an RN Clinical Nurse – Critical Care to join an interdisciplinary team delivering high-quality, safe patient care during night shifts. This role works under Nurse Managers and Wellstar governance models to uphold standards and patient advocacy.

The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in nursing processes, evidence-based practice, and collaboration with physicians, support staff, and families.

Qualifications

• Associates Nursing or Diploma; Bachelor's preferred.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications and active RN license.
• Minimum 2 years direct patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process (assessment; diagnosis; outcomes; planning; implementation and evaluation) using evidence-based practice.
• Provides relationship-based, patient-centered care reflecting diverse populations.
• Partners with patients and families using bedside shift report; rounds; teaching and goal-oriented plans of care.
• Practices using current clinical practice standards.
• Coordinates delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care; participates in performance improvement and governance.
