Job summary

St. Charles Health System in Bend, OR is seeking a RN – Critical Care for the Intermediate Care/ICU setting. You will provide patient- and family-centered care, supervise care delivered by others, and ensure safe medication administration within a 24/7 unit.

The role requires current Oregon RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and ICU/step-down experience. BSN is preferred, with competency in ECG and cardiovascular care. Expect a dynamic, multidisciplinary team and a commitment to professional growth.

Qualifications

• Current Oregon RN license.
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider.
• ACLS certification.
• Preferred: CCRN, PCCN or CEN.
• Basic ECG course or 12-lead ECG competency; 12 lead ECG course within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and needs using clinical judgment and nursing standards.
• Administer medications and document care in accordance with policies.
• Collaborate with care team to meet physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and lean principles.
• Provide therapeutic presence and effective communication with patients and families.
