EdgeCore Digital Infrastructure in East Mesa is seeking a Core Operations Technician to monitor data center conditions, manage vendor activities, and support safe, reliable operations. This night-shift role requires flexibility for overnight hours and a proactive, safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• 2-7 years of experience in a critical facility or similar environment.
• Technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, automation, HVAC, plumbing, or manufacturing is highly valued.
• Experience or training with electrical systems, power distribution, generators, UPS, switchgear or industrial electrical environments preferred.
• Empathetic, team-oriented individual with good communication skills.
• Willingness to work a 24/7 shift and adapt to schedule changes.
• Knowledge of NFPA70E, forklift, OSHA10, and First Aid/CPR certifications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor data center conditions and respond to operational events.
• Oversee vendor activities and ensure safety and compliance.
• Contribute to the operations playbook and process improvements.
• Utilize CMMS to track and document work and manage assets and tools.
• Support client IT deployments and decommissioning with power and cooling tasks.
• Collaborate with the Site Manager on maintenance plans.
• Work a 24/7 schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
