Clarios is seeking a Manufacturing Controls Engineer – Night Shift to support our Middletown plant's distribution center. You will be the primary engineering on the night shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, 2-2-3), partner with maintenance to keep operations running and drive reliability in a fast‑paced battery production environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred).
• 2+ years of manufacturing support experience (or equivalent hands‑on).
• Hands‑on PLC troubleshooting and programming basics.
• Strong electrical, mechanical, and automation troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering support on shift, troubleshoot PLC, electrical and mechanical issues impacting production.
• Diagnose and resolve day‑to‑day manufacturing interruptions to minimize downtime.
• Perform PLC troubleshooting and minor program changes as needed.
• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Drive continuous improvement for uptime, reliability and process optimization.
• Collaborate with maintenance technicians and production teams to ensure safe operations.
