**What You Will Do**This position is essential to plant performance - supporting safety, quality, and efficiency in battery manufacturing while directly contributing to Clarios' operational excellence and production goals.**What Does Success Look Like*** Serve as the lead engineering support on the shift, independently troubleshooting PLC, electrical, and mechanical issues impacting production* Quickly diagnose and resolve day-to-day manufacturing interruptions, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuity of operations* Perform PLC troubleshooting and minor program modifications to address process and equipment issues* Identify root causes of failures and implement sustainable corrective actions to prevent recurrence* Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on uptime, reliability, and process optimization* Support manufacturing teams by collaborating with maintenance technicians and production to ensure safe and efficient operations**What We Look For**Required* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred) with 2+ years of manufacturing support experience (or equivalent hands-on experience)* Hands-on experience with PLC troubleshooting and basic programming changes* Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, and automation systems* Ability to work independently as the sole engineer on shift, supporting production in real timePreferred* Experience in battery manufacturing or high-volume industrial environments* Exposure to robotics troubleshooting and diagnostics* Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, root cause analysis)**Work Environment & Schedule*** Night shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule* Work takes place in a manufacturing plant environment with exposure to both hot and cold conditions.
