Job summary

Golden State Foods is seeking a Compounder for the night shift (6:00 PM–6:00 AM) to produce safe, high-quality products by accurately batching ingredients and following detailed specs. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include preparing batches, verifying ingredients, recording information for traceability, and maintaining a clean, compliant production area with proper PPE and safety practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months of related experience or training.
• Ability to read production paperwork and follow formulas.
• Basic math and measurement skills (weight, volume, distance).

Responsibilities

• Safely prepare batches by following formulas, batch cards and specs.
• Verify ingredients and record information for quality traceability.
• Follow food safety, allergen and sanitation procedures.
• Operate processing equipment and perform routine setup.
• Keep area clean, sanitized, and production-ready.
• Follow PPE, lockout/tagout and safety requirements.
