Job summary

PennEngineering is seeking a motivated individual to join our Manufacturing Team as a Cold Heading / Thread Rolling Operator (Night Shift). You will participate in an operator training program and work with teams to produce quality parts from engineering drawings and process control documents.

Responsibilities include setting up machines, using precision gauges, and maintaining a clean, safe work area while contributing to daily production and quality reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills.
• Mechanical ability.
• Use of micrometers, calipers, comparators, gages, hand tools, etc.
• Read and understand blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate cold heading and thread rolling machines with trainer and team guidance.
• Follow detailed drawings, process docs, and work instructions to produce quality parts.
• Use measuring devices to verify tolerances and quality.
• Prepare dies and tooling as called for in BOMs.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and replace worn tooling to stay in tolerance.
