Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; military experience a plus.
• Ability to use testing equipment to ensure coated lens quality per specifications.
• Record data to identify areas for improvement, trends and special causes.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work in a team environment.
• Microsoft Office: Word and Excel.
• U.S. Government Authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Coating Line is running at full capacity.
• Basic testing and inspection of lenses and fluids used for cleaning and coating.
• Reports equipment, maintenance and material issues to the Shift Supervisor and Process Engineering Group; conducts routine safety and performance inspections.
• Responds to and documents basic alarms and abnormalities.
• Routinely changes chemicals in Coating Line.
• Tracks lens rejects and documents issues.
• Supports Process Engineering staff as required.
• Maintains housekeeping on Coating Line.
• Works closely with Machine Operators.
