Job summary

Dover Precision Components’ Waukesha Bearings facility in Antigo, WI is hiring for a Night Shift CNC Operator. The role involves reading blueprints, setting up CNC equipment, running programs, and performing precision inspections in a fast-paced production setting.

Ideal candidates have CNC milling/lathe experience, GD&T knowledge, and a certificate in Machine Tool Operation or equivalent training, with a strong safety mindset and teamwork orientation.

Qualifications

• Minimum manufacturing experience with precision inspection equipment (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges).
• One year machine tool operation certificate or 3–6 months related training/experience; or equivalent.
• Experience operating CNC machines (milling/lathe) and reading blueprints.
• Knowledge of CNC programming languages (G-code) and CAM software.
• Familiarity with GD&T and precision measurement instruments.

Responsibilities

• Read, process sheets, blueprints, and sketches to determine dimensional specs and operating requirements.
• Set up, load programs, and run CNC machines; download programs from DNC storage.
• Interpret work instructions and select proper tooling; calculate feeds and speeds.
• Perform quality inspections and adhere to safety and lean manufacturing practices.
• Maintain a collaborative, team-focused work environment.
