Job summary

Safe Fleet is seeking a reliable Machine Operator for the third shift (10:00 PM–6:30 AM) to maintain work cells in a manufacturing environment. You will set up, troubleshoot, and operate CNC machining centers and other equipment including Haas vertical machines, Fanuc robots, Amada turret punch, and manual machines.

You should read blueprints, perform measurements with calipers and micrometers, and edit programs to ensure quality and production targets.

Qualifications

• Three or more years as a CNC machinist are required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Overtime and weekends may be required.
• Ability to communicate with supervisors and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate CNC vertical machining centers.
• Read and interpret component drawings, perform calculations, and resolve problems.
• Use calipers and micrometers for precise measurements.
• Understand and edit G&M Codes and macro programming.
• Mount, align, and secure tools, attachments, fixtures, and workpieces.
• Produce quality parts meeting production rates and standards.
• Record KPI data and maintain 5S workplace organization.
