Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Mocksville, NC is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our 3rd shift (11PM–7AM) on a direct-hire basis. You will read blueprints, set up and operate CNC machines, and verify parts to exact tolerances while contributing to a safe, efficient production line.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of CNC machining experience, with ability to read drawings, measure precisely, and work with engineers to resolve issues and maintain quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years CNC machining experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings.
• Strong attention to detail to meet tight tolerances.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Uses blueprints, sketches, drawings, and job instructions to produce dimensions and tolerances.
• Sets up, operates, and monitors CNC machines.
• Enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit control information for CNC machines.
• Performs quality checks and measurements to ensure conformance to specs.
• Reworks parts that don’t meet specifications.
• Collaborates with engineers and production staff to resolve machining issues.
