Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a CNC Machinist for our Mocksville, NC facility. The role involves performing precision machining to tight tolerances on mills, lathes, and CNC machines, following blueprints and process instructions. The position is on-site with a 3rd shift (11PM–7AM) and full-time direct hire.

Candidates should have 2+ years CNC experience, a high school diploma or GED, and strong manual dexterity. Knowledge of ISO procedures and safety is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years CNC machining experience.
• Ability to read safety rules, blueprints and procedures.
• Ability to stand and walk up to 8 hours per shift.

Responsibilities

• Produce dimensions and tolerances from blueprints and instructions.
• Operate mills, lathes, grinders, and CNC machines.
• Enter and edit CNC control data.
• Monitor machine operation and adjust controls to keep tolerances.
• Use measurement tools to verify parts meet specifications.
• Rework parts that do not meet specs.
• Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to resolve issues.
• Maintain 5S and safety in the work area.
• Document production data and part locations.
