Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a CNC Machinist on the East side of Indianapolis. Shift is 10:30p-7a, Mon-Thu, with pay in the $20-$25/hr range based on experience. The role involves reading blueprints, setting up a CNC lathe, and maintaining tight tolerances with GD&T.

Responsibilities include loading, verifying settings, running samples, and documenting quality logs while ensuring safe operations. Benefits and bonuses are available per client program.

Qualifications

• Must be able to use precision measuring instruments.
• Previous experience with a CNC Lathe.
• Able to maintain tolerances of .0005 on critical dimensions and +/- .001 on other dimensions.
• Able to interpret GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Machine based on blueprints and specifications required.
• Interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
• Load and verify settings, run samples and confirm accuracy.
• Maintain specifications throughout process by taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering procedures and processes.
• Maintain safe operations and document quality logs.
