Job summary

California Closets in Grand Rapids, MI seeks a Maintenance Mechanic & Technician for the third shift to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heavy CNC-style machinery and building systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with heavy CNC-style machinery.

• Ability to read equipment manuals and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair heavy CNC-style equipment including Homag Saws, CNC, and Edge banding.
• Troubleshoot issues and determine necessary repairs.
• Maintain preventive maintenance procedures for equipment and building systems.
• Maintain tools and equipment, and manage maintenance records.
• Ensure compliance with local building and fire codes.
• Requisition parts and materials needed to maintain machinery and facility.
