Job summary

South Ogden Post Acute in South Ogden, UT is seeking a compassionate CNA to join our night shift team (6 PM – 6 AM). You will assist residents with daily living activities, respond to call lights, and help maintain a safe, supportive environment.

On-the-job training is provided; current CNA certification is preferred or you can become certified within 120 days. Tuition reimbursement of $500/month is available to support your nursing studies while you work.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification or willingness to become certified within 120 days of employment
• Effective communication with coworkers and residents
• Willingness to learn local, state, and federal laws/regulations in regard to long-term care

Responsibilities

• Answer residents' call lights to determine needs
• Turn and reposition residents while they are in bed
• Provide physical support to assist residents in performing daily living activities such as getting in/out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, using the bathroom, standing, walking, or exercising
• Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure residents receive appropriate diet
• Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary
• Reporting changes in resident condition to nursing staff and develop relationships with residents to ensure their stay is comfortable
