Hendricks Community Hospital Association in Hendricks, MN is seeking a qualified Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. We offer CNA classes at no cost to help you obtain certification.

You will provide residents with personal care per their care plans in a friendly, small-town setting. We offer weekend/shift differentials, a starting wage of $22.50/hour, night shifts 6pm–6:30am, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, disability, HSA with employer

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a state approved nursing assistant training program.
• Previous healthcare facility experience preferred but willing to train.
• Genuine interest in geriatrics.
• Able to provide quality resident care following each individual care plan.
• Assist with personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, mobility (ADL’s).
• Communicates positively with residents and responds to behaviors.
• Able to work in a team to benefit residents and facility.
• Knows safety and emergency procedures for long-term care facilities.
• Practice infection control procedures.
• Maintain emotional stability under stress.
• Flexibility to handle changing situations and emergencies.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Moderate to heavy physical work including standing, bending, walking, lifting over 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality care for long-term care residents.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Follow individual care plans and strive for resident comfort and safety.
• Maintain safety and infection control procedures.
• Support a positive, collaborative team environment.
