Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking candidates for its Nurse Assistant Training Program at CoxHealth South in Springfield, MO. The role supports basic patient care under nursing supervision, including vitals, bathing, and mobility, with a focus on learning in a clinical setting.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred) and may have prior patient-care experience or completed an unlicensed assistive personnel program. Night shifts are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3 months nursing assistant experience preferred or recent completion of an unlicensed assistant program.
• Basic patient care duties under nursing supervision are expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff.
• Take vitals, bathe, dress, move patients and change linens.
• Report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
• Support clinical educator during training rotations.
