Job summary

NHC HealthCare Columbia is seeking compassionate and dependable CNAs for the Night Shift to join our care team in Columbia, TN. CNAs assist with daily living activities, monitor residents, and support overall comfort and safety in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• Current Tennessee CNA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming and hygiene.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation as needed.
• Help with meals, hydration and other daily needs.
• Obtain and record vital signs as directed by licensed staff.
• Observe patients and report changes in condition promptly to the nurse.
• Respond to call lights and requests for assistance promptly and compassionately.
• Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable environments and follow infection control procedures.
