Job summary

Winston Medical is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for PRN shifts in Louisville, KY. You will report to the Charge Nurse on the unit and work under the supervision of RNs and LPNs, assisting residents with daily living tasks and ensuring comfort and safety.

You must have graduated from a Nurse Aide program and hold an active MS Nurse Aide License. Expect physical tasks, periodic lifting, and a requirement to respond to call lights promptly while maintaining resident dignity and

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nurse Aide Program and have a current, active MS Nurse Aide License.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to work under pressure, adaptable to change, and report for duty as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living as directed by licensed personnel.
• Respond promptly to call lights and communicate resident needs to the Nurse in Charge.
• Assist with admissions and discharges; maintain intake/output records as required.
• Check vital signs and report abnormalities; assist with nourishment and hygiene.
• Provide perineal care and assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
• Maintain safe environment, adhere to HIPAA, and follow infection control procedures.
