Job summary

Sanford Health in Bemidji, MN is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide patient-centered care during night shifts. You will assist with daily living activities, take vital signs, and support treatment areas under supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.

The role requires 18+ years old, basic patient care knowledge, and may require Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry certification. Sanford offers a comprehensive benefits package and a 7,500 USD bonus eligible for employees.

Qualifications

Must be 18+ years old.
Must be able to acquire a basic knowledge of patient care principles, medical terminology and equipment within the assigned service area.
Certification and registration with the Minnesota Board of Nursing Assistant Registry is preferred. Certification is required if designated by law (i.e. Home Care).

Responsibilities

Provide patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under supervision of RN or LPN.
Record vital statistics and other basic health information.
Perform clerical tasks related to scheduling and documenting patient healthcare; prepare treatment areas and equipment.
