Job summary

South Shore Health System is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the Pratt 6 North Med Surg unit in Weymouth. You will assist in patient care, transport patients, and perform clerical duties to ensure smooth unit operation.

This night shift position requires BLS certification, good communication, and the ability to document care accurately under supervision. Prior CNA experience is preferred and there may be weekend rotations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior Nursing Assistant experience preferred.
• BLS certification required or obtainable through SSH.

Responsibilities

• Assist with direct and indirect patient care under licensed supervision.
• Transport patients safely via wheelchair or stretcher.
• Perform receptionist/clerical duties to support unit operations.
• Maintain patient safety and proper documentation of care provided.
