Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Baker City, OR is seeking a part-time CNA on a PRN basis for 12-hour night shifts in the Med Surg Unit. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vitals, and support care under the guidance of a registered nurse.

Minimum qualifications include Oregon CNA Level I licensure and BLS certification at hire. We offer growth opportunities and a supportive team in a faith-based health system.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant Level I in the State of Oregon.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with bathing, dressing, eating and elimination.
• Works closely with patients helping them with other activities of daily living such as transferring from the bed to a chair, performing minor physical therapy routines and turning in bed to prevent bed sores.
• Takes patient vitals such as blood pressure, heart rate and temperature, all while working under the supervision of a licensed registered nurse
