Qualifications

• Successful completion of a nursing assistant program or 1+ years of clinical experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent from an accredited school.
• Must have a State CNA certification and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Recognizes normal signs of aging and assesses care needs.
• Maintains hygiene of patients, their environment, and the unit.
• Ensures safe storage of medications and supplies (large volume IVs, alcohol, saline, etc.).
• Provides hydration and nutritional support as directed.
• Identifies and communicates patient data to the interdisciplinary team.
• Collects and records patient data through direct care tasks.
• Performs patient transport and courier duties as directed.

Education
