Job summary

Eventide Williamsburg in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Certified Medication Aid (MA40) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a 6p–6a, part-time night shift with weekend and holiday rotation. The role combines direct caregiving with medication assistance under RN supervision, within HIPAA-compliant care plans.

Ideal candidates have a CNA and MA-40 certification in good standing, CPR if MA-40, and at least 6 months of caregiving experience.

Qualifications

• Requires fluency in English with medical terminology understanding.
• Minimum 6 months experience as a caregiver preferred.
• CPR is required if MA-40 certification is used; MA-40 and CNA in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transfers).
• Assists with admissions, discharges, transfers and orientation of new staff.
• Follows protocol for documentation and HIPAA privacy.
• Prepares and serves meals; cleans dining areas and handles laundry as needed.
• Administers medications under RN supervision when MA40 is utilized; responds to emergencies.
