Qualifikationen

• Currently enrolled in a school for nursing assistants or have a license as a certified nursing assistant.
• A minimum of 6 months experience as a CNA or clinical experience during CNA class.
• Must possess a sincere desire to serve the ill, aged and infirm.
• Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
• Patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm.
• Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability.

Aufgaben

• Perform duties per facility policies, nursing care procedures and safety rules.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours to administer care.
• Verify resident identification before care or meals to ensure correct care.
• Report missing ID bands to admission coordinator promptly.
• Make beds and keep bedside areas clean.
• Ensure water pitchers are clean, filled and within resident reach.
• Assist with general duties as directed by nursing leadership.
• Wash hands before and after resident care.
• Position residents correctly and assist with oral/dental care.
