Job summary

SEM Haven is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team for the night shift (6:45 pm – 7:00 am) in Milford, Ohio. The Care Partner works cooperatively with residents, families and staff to provide for physical, social, and environmental needs in a home-like setting.

In this role you will support resident-centered care, participate in household activities and meetings, and help with activities of daily living while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant in Ohio on the registry or eligible for testing.
• Training in food sanitation, housekeeping procedures, restorative nursing and resident activities.
• Free from illegal use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Provide for the physical, social and environmental needs of residents.
• Promote resident-centered care and participate in daily life activities.
• Assist with food preparation/serving, cleaning spills, trash removal.
• Transport residents and attend household meetings.
• Maintain clean and presentable living and work areas.
