Job summary

SEM Haven is seeking a Care Partner to assist residents with daily living, meal service, and maintaining a clean, safe home environment. You will cooperate with residents, families, coworkers and volunteers while following facility policies and quality-improvement guidelines.

The role requires helping with mobility, attending meetings, and supporting residents to live as independently as possible with kindness and respect. Must have CNA in Ohio and be able to read, write and speak English.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant in Ohio on the registry or eligible for testing.
• Training in food sanitation, housekeeping procedures, restorative nursing and resident activities.
• Ability to read, write and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and serving.
• Pick up clutter, remove trash, clean spills.
• Transport residents as needed.
• Attend household meetings and learning circles.
• Fulfill simple requests for residents.
• Support residents in living as independently as they wish to, with kindness and respect.
