Job summary

State of Oklahoma seeks a Certified Nurse Aide for Clinton Veterans Home. Night shift (6:30pm–7:00am) provides direct nursing care under supervision of RNs and physicians.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, vital signs, and medication administration according to orders. Qualified candidates hold a valid Oklahoma LPN license or eNLC-recognized license, with at least one year of practical nursing experience and proficiency in English.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Oklahoma LPN license or an eNLC-recognized license.
• Minimum one year of practical nursing experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Knowledge of infection control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing procedures under supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
• Administer medications as ordered.
• Record health status and communicate with the care team.
• Assist in developing and implementing a plan of care.
• Serve as Charge Nurse on a unit when assigned.
