Job summary

Novant Health’s Coastal Professional Nursing Resource Team is seeking a Part-Time Night CNA to provide patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital setting in Wilmington, NC. You’ll use clinical judgment, support daily activities, and collaborate with nurses and providers to promote comfort and safety.

Required: HS diploma, NA I registration, 1 year CNA experience preferred, and basic computer skills for documentation. Shift is 6:45pm–7:15am with differential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• One year experience, preferred.
• Completion of NAI program, listed on the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required.
• Medication Safety - AME, required.
• Basic computer skills for documentation, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care by using clinical experience to anticipate needs and promote comfort and dignity.
• Serve as a trusted partner to nurses and providers, sharing observations and supporting care plans.
• Guide safe mobility and recovery efforts, assist with ambulation, repositioning, and fall-prevention practices.
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation of vitals and patient status to support clinical decisions.
• Foster a calm, supportive environment for patients and families during challenging moments.
