Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with residents and nursing staff.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Prior LTC nursing assistant experience preferred; or equivalent education/experience.
• Successful completion of State Approved Nursing Assistant Training and Certification.

Responsibilities

• Answers signal lights and calls to determine resident needs and ensures call lights are within reach.
• Checks on residents frequently and provides direct resident care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Explains procedures and assists residents with activities of daily living.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
