Job summary

UCI Health in California seeks a dedicated Nursing Assistant to join the patient care team. Under RN supervision, you will perform basic patient care, monitor vital signs, and support hygiene, mobility, and comfort for diverse patient populations.

You must hold a California CNA, BLS, AB508 within 90 days, and be able to read, write, and speak English. Shifts include nights, weekends, and holidays. We offer comprehensive benefits and a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Current California Nurses Assistant Certification.
• Current BLS provider
• AB508 Training within ninety (90) days
• Must be able to read, write and speak effectively in English
• Must be able to work variable shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Provides basic patient care under the supervision of the RN team member.
• Performs basic nursing tasks including hygiene, vital signs, and nutrition support.
• Communicates clearly with patients and staff; documents and reports changes promptly.
• Maintains infection control practices and follows hospital policies.
• Attends unit meetings and supports unit goals and continuous improvement.
