Night shift differential

Job summary

Slhmarion in Marion, OH is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate resident care. This role supports nursing staff by assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vitals, and helping maintain comfort and safety for residents.

The position includes an increased night shift differential and an hourly wage range of $16.32 to $17.92. A valid state CNA certification is required, along with BLS and completion of an approved CNA program.

Qualifications

• Must have state CNA certification and pass background check
• BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Experience in healthcare settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating, mobility)
• Monitor and record vital signs
• Provide emotional support and companionship
• Maintain cleanliness and infection control
• Communicate with nursing staff regarding resident status
• Assist with transfers and positioning
• Support care plans under RN/LPN supervision
• Respond promptly to resident calls and requests
