Job summary

Avir at Alice in Alice, Texas is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Night Shift team. You will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, provide toileting and mobility support, and help maintain a safe, clean environment in a warm, patient-centered setting.

Must be listed on the Texas Nurse Aide Registry or become certified within four months of hire.

Qualifications

• Must be listed on the Texas Nurse Aide Registry, or become certified within four months of hire.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and remain calm under pressure.
• Patience, tact, and a positive attitude with residents, families, and staff.
• Comfort working with residents who are ill, disabled, elderly, or upset.
• Ability to move intermittently and assist with resident transfers.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide toileting assistance and turn and reposition residents as needed.
• Answer call lights promptly and determine resident needs.
• Assist residents with walking and transfers using a gait belt.
• Monitor vital signs, weights, and intake/output as directed.
• Provide catheter care as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
