Avir at La Hacienda De Paz Rehabilitation and Care Center in Eagle Pass, Texas is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the night shift. You will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and help with transfers and mobility as part of a dedicated healthcare team.

Qualifications

Must be listed on the Texas Nurse Aide Registry, or become certified within four months of hire.
Ability to work independently, stay organized, and remain calm under pressure.
Patience, tact, and a positive attitude with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and more.
Provide toileting assistance and turn and reposition residents as needed.
Answer call lights promptly and courteously to determine resident needs.
Assist residents with walking and transportation, using a gait belt for all transfers and ambulation.
Monitor vital signs, weights, and intake and output as directed.
Provide catheter care as required.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
