Job summary

Qualifications

• NYS CNA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to the patient/resident with ADLs, morning and evening care, and general comfort measures.
• Prepares unit, patient/resident rooms and beds for admissions, transfers, discharges or emergencies.
• Obtains vital signs and blood sugars and documents findings.
• Prepares and assists patients with meals and nourishments.
• Distributes water and nourishment; assists with hydration as needed.
• Supports nursing staff by answering call bells, stocking rooms/carts, and reporting abnormal findings.
