Job summary

Saint Francis Healthcare System in Missouri is seeking a Nurse Assistant to provide direct and indirect patient care under licensed personnel. Responsibilities include bathing, feeding, hygiene, toileting, ambulation and positioning, with emphasis on patient safety and satisfaction.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and completion of an unlicensed assistive personnel curriculum or equivalent experience, plus BLS certification.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification required.
• Proof of completion of an unlicensed assistive personnel curriculum meeting 19 CSR 30-20.125 or relevant nursing experience/certifications may be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care including bathing, hygiene, feeding and hydration, and toileting.
• Support patient safety and satisfaction by regular rounds and clear communication with the care team.
• Assist with ambulation and positioning under supervision of licensed staff.
