• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing, or in process within four months by training program or Endorsement; certification provided by facility.
• Annual 12 hours continuing education and maintenance of department certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and recording vital signs.
• Support residents with meals and hydration, assist with mobility and transfers.
• Document resident interactions and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
• Participate in wellness and recreational programs and departmental initiatives.
