Job summary

Steelville Care and Rehab is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants to provide high-quality resident care in our supportive team.

Nights 6:00pm–6:00am. We offer competitive pay, a $800 sign-on bonus for full-time, $2.00/hr shift differential, PTO after 30 days, holidays with premium pay, tuition reimbursement up to $5,000/yr, 401(k) with match, and comprehensive medical/dental/vision insurance.

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Missouri

Responsibilities

• Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs
• Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair and incontinence care
• Obtains food trays and assists residents with feeding
• Assists resident with range of motion exercises
• Provides for personal care and comfort
• Movement to wheelchair or activity areas
• Assists residents with ambulation for short distance in facility
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output
• Provides direct and indirect resident care services
• Meets the communication needs of resident and family
• Communicates to nursing team changes in residents’ clinical condition
• Performs other tasks as assigned
