Job summary

Goldwater Care Bloomington is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide resident care and support in all daily living activities, ensuring health, welfare and safety. You will work 6 PM to 6 AM, aiding with meals, hygiene, mobility, vital signs, and documentation.

This role requires a state CNA with CPR certification, 18+ years of age, and preferred long-term care experience. Excellent team environment and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid CNA certification per state law.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• Long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with serving meals and feeding; provide fresh water and nourishment between meals.
• Provide assistance in personal hygiene (bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, shaves); assist with bathroom travel and showers.
• Assist in ambulating, turning, and positioning residents.
• Monitor vital signs and weight; record intake and output.
• Enhance resident comfort; answer call lights and requests; report observations to nursing supervisor.
• Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Protect privacy and dignity; comply with HIPAA and related laws.
• Adhere to professional standards, policies, and all regulations including JCAHO.
• Update job knowledge through education; reading publications; participating in professional organizations; maintaining licensure.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
