Job summary

Southeast Behavioral Hospital, part of UHS, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support the treatment team with continuous patient care. The role involves supervision, interaction with patients, and assisting in care delivery under RN guidance.

Responsibilities include patient supervision, safety support, and documentation of care, with shifts on a night schedule and rotating weekends, requiring a valid CNA license and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent and valid CNA license.
• Experience: Two years in psychiatric patient care preferred.
• Licensure: Valid state driver’s license and active CNA license.
• Additional Training: CPR, Handle with Care, Service Excellence and Aggressive Behavior training.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous patient care, supervision and interaction on treatment teams.
• Work under RN supervision across ages from adolescents to geriatrics.
• Assist with safety and care plans and document care as required.
