Job summary

Wesley Commons is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate care in our Assisted Living facility and Special Care House. You will assist residents with activities of daily living, including meals, hygiene, dressing, and medication management, while maintaining a safe, home-like environment.

You must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a CNA certificate approved by DHECM, and pass the medication administration test with a score of 90 or higher.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate approved by DHECM.
• Must score a 90 or higher on medication administration test.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including meal setup, cueing, bathing, dressing and personal hygiene.
• Assist with daily hygiene needs including mouth care and care of teeth or dentures and medication management.
• Provide a safe, home-like environment and maintain resident confidentiality and respectful communication.
• Demonstrate ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionally, and to stand or walk for extended periods.
