Novant Health in Kernersville, NC, is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant for a 46-bed Medical-Surgical Unit. You will support adult patients with daily living activities, vital sign checks, and safety, while collaborating with nurses and the care team to deliver compassionate care.

The role emphasizes patient comfort, dignity, and a positive experience on a fast-paced hospital unit. Night shift hours are 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, full-time employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, required; completion of NAI program, required.
• One year of relevant experience required; long-term care or assisted living experience preferred.
• NAI program completion and nurse aide registry listing (NA I) required; medication safety awareness expected.
• Basic computer skills for documentation preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, mobility, hygiene, and personal care
• Obtain and document vital signs and other patient information
• Monitor and record intake and output as directed
• Support patient comfort, positioning, and safety
• Observe patients and promptly report changes in condition to the nursing team
• Assist nursing staff with patient-care activities within your scope of practice
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and supportive patient-care environment
• Promote patient dignity, independence, and an exceptional patient experience
